iHype Announces the Development of an Enterprise Social Media Platform

PLEASANTON, Calif., Jan. 21 - iHype.com, a pre-launch social media marketing platform, announced today the formation of a core engineering team set to develop the service platform. The all star engineering team is based out of Pleasanton California and is tasked with delivering the enterprise application by the summer of 2008.

iHype is developing a new social media marketing service that empowers marketers with the ability to market their products and services through an online social medium composed of thousands of bloggers and content publishers nationwide. Marketers are able to leverage the service to successfully launch, distribute and spread new product releases and news to the market in a viral fashion regardless of their budget size.
"As a marketer you will have the ability to use our web applications to leverage the growing internet social sphere of online conversations, blogs and articles to announce your company product releases on demand and within any marketing budget. That is powerful to any marketer in the web 2.0 world," said Behrouzi, who plans to build a platform that is intended to be easier to use than existing social media marketing services.
Formed in 2007 and set to release its beta version in the summer of 2008, iHype has raised $1.1 million from its parent company Brabus Ventures Corporation, company directors and employees. The company has not yet announced an official launch date or specific details of the business.
